THE HAMILTON BOOK TAG!!!!

Hi there everyone!!! I'M DOING ANOTHER BOOK TAG! Yes, a book tag, in which I was never actually tagged. Seriously. I never get tagged to anything unless I somehow push myself into being tagged or beg to do the tag or just do the tag coz rebel. But for this tag, I suppose there isn't really a question if I should do this or not. BECAUSE I WILL BECAUSE IT'S HAMILTON AND I CANNOT NOT DO IT. I saw it in Christine of polandbananasBOOKS video and said to myself, "JAYVEE, YOU'RE AN IDIOT IF YOU DON'T DO IT." The original tag was made by Maureen of maureenkeavy, so check out her video of that too.

If you follow me on Twitter, I absolutely cannot stop talking about basically 4 things: Books, Star Wars, Adam Driver and right now, Hamilton. As someone who is never actually raised in America, having any sort of inclination  towards the story of Hamilton is a bit perplexing to me. But as an audiophile and seeing that the story could translate to so many things, like a man's struggle to help his country rise to the top, it can be connected to so many unsung heroes of different times, ages and more. Hamilton is just a great example of one that has touched my heart. AND I'VE BEEN LISTENING TO THE CAST RECORDING EVERY DAY PEOPLE. EVERY DAY.

Okay, I'mma stop garbling my words now and start actually doing the book tag! I will also include the link to the songs on Spotify, so you can listen to them and start getting addicted... <3

Disney Princess Book Tag

I haven't done a book tag in so long, it makes me sick.

Hey there! This is, I think, my first book tag of the year. You guys know that I don't really do a lot of tags but the last time, I enjoyed myself too much. Thanks again to Lady Salve of Cuckoo for Books. But this time, I ended up lost in probably my newest favorite book tag. I chanced upon Alexa of Alexa Loves Books' tag on Disney Princesses being paired with books and I was like "I AM SO THERE". Though Alexa didn't actually tag me, she did however encourage me to do the tag so for those who want to play along, you are free to do it yourself. :) The Disney Princess Tag was originally made by Soudha of Stacks and Cups.

Three (3) Princess Facts

1. Mulan will always and forever be, my favorite Disney Princess (though she's technically not a princess but I still love her to bits). She is fierce, loyal, true and beautiful and just an all-around badass. Her love for her father and her willingness to go up and beyond has always astounded me and I end up re-watching the movie for multiple times every year.
2. My first memory of Disney Princesses was in 2000, I suppose, when my Dad rented a copy of an anniversary edition of Snow White and The Seven Dwarves. It was in this midnight blue, round tin and had Snow White holding the red, shiny apple. To this day, The Evil Queen disguised as the witch scares the bejeezus out of me.
3. The Princess and The Frog is the only Disney princess film, even to this day, that has the power to make me cry on 3 in the morning because of all the feels. It's not exactly my most favorite Disney princess film, but it's on my top 3 because of the tear-jerking abilities it possesses.

Let's get the tag started!

R.I.P IT OR SHIP IT BOOK TAG

Hi there Misfit booknerds! As you all know, I suck at keeping up with tags. I think the last one I did was a couple of months ago, and since then, I had a few others that have been tagged to me but I'm just an ass for not remembering what they were. Of course, this also happened during the time that I wasn't blogging. And then my good friend, Salve of Cuckoo For Books (who I must now call Lady Salve because it's mandatory. Hi, my lady *winks*) kind of decided that I should do a R.I.P It or Ship It Book Tag. And with a bit of hesitation, I kinda said yes.

So, how does it work? Here are the rules:

1. You make a list of book characters, male and female, and then print them out, cut 'em, fold them so that the text is hidden then place them in a bowl, a cup, mug, jar or the floor and you mix them together. Here's a photo of me with proof:

Let's all forgive my attempt at winking and looking adorable. HAHA!

2. Afterwards, you grab two pieces, of course at random, then open both up and see who the characters are and you either R.I.P it or Ship it, depending on their personalities, or their physical appearance, emotional state, or you just plainly think they'll work because heck. HAHA! But it's quite important to point out why you think they are better thrown in the pits of Tartarus or if they are a swoon-worthy couple, even when they are completely from different worlds. ALSO, this tag isn't gender sensitive, so we can have some boys love. *winks*

Okay? Got that? Great. Also, there might be some fan cast photos, which I might like for the characters and stuff, please don't kill me. In any case, I'll just use the book covers.

First pair: Clary Fray from The Mortal Instruments & Jacob Portman from Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children
